Good Citizen Award Scheme
This is the Kennel Club Award Scheme that provides a quality standard of training for dogs and their owners. With the emphasis placed on socialised dogs that are easily controlled, giving owners an understanding of basic dog welfare and law. There are four levels from Puppy through to Bronze, Silver and Gold.
We run these courses over a 4-8 week period. Certificates of Achievement are awarded to owners and their dogs who have successfully passed the scheme's tests.
Reactive Dog Class
This class is aimed at dogs that react towards other dogs, cars, bikes etc. This class will be structured to suit each dog so starting times may be staggered. They will learn how to control themselves in presence of the things they react too in a positive manner.
We do ask that any dog that reacts towards other dogs attend a 1-1 session before coming into any class.
These classes are aimed at everyday training needs for a well behaved dog.
Fun agility is aimed at dogs and owners having fun together, at their own pace. This is offered both indoors and outdoors with safe quality equipment.
1-2 -1 Training
For those who have dogs with behaviour or training problems that require more attention than can be given in a group class.
Or, for those who wish their dogs to advance to a higher level of obedience or agility.
Puppy Parties are aimed at young puppies once they have had their 2nd vaccine and able to socialise with other dogs, the upper age limit is 16 weeks but this is discretionary.
The aim is to provide new puppy owners with information on a number of relevant topics from fleas to dog law.
These Parties will run as a 4 week rolling programme £30 per puppy for the course.
We can assist in the training of Gundogs with the obedience required of a Gundog, retrieves and whistle work.
Gundog Training is available as either 1-1 sessions or as a group session.
